VINspector LLC provides an integrated Mobile App and Dashboard solution for the inspection and tracking of vehicles and freight during the shipment or storage process. The solution is also used for fleet management in tracking vehicle condition over time.
We provide an API for integration with 3rd party logistics and claims management systems. We are able to exchange data with such systems upon your written authorization.
These products and services are provided on the basis of a Software as a Service model in which your company must first agree to a legally binding Use Agreement signed by an authorized representative of your organization.

example, we may collect nonpublic personal information about you from: Service
agreements you may fill out; Your transactional history with us, our affiliates, or others;
Email communications that you send us or confirmations that we receive when you
open your email from us; From 3rd party applications you authorize to communicate
with our products and services; Or from other sources for reasons such as for improving
our service; For example, we may provide you with product recommendations which
solve particular needs. We may also collect and use publicly and freely available
generalized company information such as web site address and logo.
All of these pieces of information and data will be referred to collectively throughout this Privacy Policy as “Customer Information.” We will limit the use and collection of Customer Information to that which is necessary to administer our business and provide superior service to you.

or apply our Terms and Conditions of the VINspector system Use Agreement and other
agreements; or protect the rights, property, or safety of VINspector LLC, our customers,
or others. This may include exchanging information with other companies and
organizations for fraud protection and credit risk reduction. Other than as set forth
above, you will receive notice when information about you might go to third parties,
and you will have an opportunity to choose not to share the information. Whenever we
disclose any Customer Information to such companies, we require they honor and
adhere to our commitment of customer privacy. Nonetheless, in the event you do not
wish to have your Customer Information revealed to such companies, you may “opt out”
of these disclosures, that is, you may direct us not to make those disclosures (other than
disclosures permitted by law). As described above, you have an “opt out” option to
allow you to choose whether or not you want your Customer Information to be shared
with third parties. If you wish to exercise your right to “opt out”, you may request this by

Keeping your information secure is one of our most important responsibilities. To that
end, VINspector LLC employees are informed of their responsibility to protect

governed by a code of conduct that includes the responsibility to protect the

Information to only those employees who need to know such information in order to
provide products or services to you. We safeguard information according to established

accuracy, timeliness and completeness of our Customer Information. If we become
aware of inaccuracies in our records, we will take prompt steps to make appropriate
corrections.
If you note any type of unauthorized use of our products or services or a breach within
your systems of Customer Information, please notify us immediately.
You have the right to ask us to provide any or all Customer Information we have stored.
You have the right to direct us to permanently delete any or all Customer Information
we have stored provided your request does not conflict with matters of law or specific
valid and enforceable legal reasons. In such cases we will notify you of the specific legal
conditions preventing the deletion of any or all of your Customer Information.
You have the right to request correction of any or all Customer Information we have
recorded.
You do not have to pay fees or charges to exercise your rights.
Any request to exercise your rights must originate from a duly authorized individual
whose identity is confirmed by us. We may ask for further identity information in
relation to your request.
We will respond to all legitimate requests within a reasonable time period not to exceed
one month.
